When you create a free account with us, we collect additional identifiable information such as your Platform transaction history, as described further below. While you can browse some sections of our Platform without registering, certain activities (such as applying for loans from third-party lenders on the Platform) require registration and the submission of the information listed above. The Platform will clearly display the personal information it is collecting from you, and you can choose whether or not to provide it. However, this will limit the Platform's services available to you.


Our app also collects your phone number for verification purposes, such as checking the device's active SIM status, uniquely identifying you, and preventing fraud and unauthorised access.


The collection of your personal information is now required as part of our Video Know Your Customer (Video KYC) process to ensure the completion and authentication of your KYC. Permissions for microphones and cameras will be required in this case.


INFORMATION ON FINANCIAL SMS COLLECTION


Your personal SMS is not collected, read, or stored by us.


Only financial SMS sent by 6-digit alphanumeric senders are collected and monitored from your inbox, which assists us in identifying the various bank accounts that you may be holding, cash flow patterns, description and amount of transactions undertaken by you as a user to assist us in performing a credit risk assessment, which enables us to determine your risk profile and provide you with the appropriate credit analysis. This procedure will allow you to obtain financial services from the Platform's regulated financial entities. Your historical data is also included in this Financial SMS data.


While using the app, it sends financial SMS information to our affiliate server and to us on a regular basis.


COLLECTION OF DEVICE INFORMATION AND LOCATION


We collect and track information about your device's location to ensure that your loan application is serviceable, to reduce the risk associated with your loan application, and to provide pre-approved customised loan offers. This also aids us in verifying the address, making better credit risk decisions, and completing the know your customer (KYC) process.


The information the App collects and how it is used is determined by how you manage your device's privacy controls. We store the information we collect with unique identifiers tied to the device you're using when you install the App. When you download and install the App, we collect information from the device and ask for permission to get the information we need from the device. Additionally, we collect your Log information (via the domain server through which the User accesses the App Search queries, IP address, crashes, date, and so on) for the purpose of improving the App functionality. In addition to the above, we also continuously track and collect data related to the App's performance and other diagnostic data for identifying and resolving any technical glitches that may be identified from such data, as well as for improving the overabundance of data.


The hardware model, build model, RAM, storage, and unique device identifiers like IMEI, serial number, SSAID, AAID, SIM information including network operator, roaming state, MNC and MCC codes, and WIFI information including MAC address and mobile network information are all collected from your device to uniquely identify the devices and ensure that no unauthorised device acts on your behalf to prevent frauds.


We collect information about your device to provide automatic updates and additional security so that your account is not used on other people's devices, as well as to provide us with valuable feedback on your identity as a device owner and device behaviour, allowing us to improve our products' interaction, quality of services, and provide you with a more personalised user experience.


CONTACT INFORMATION COLLECTION


As part of the loan journey facilitated by FastCash : Instant Loan Online, we collect, upload to FastCash : Instant Loan Online servers, store, and monitor your contact information, which includes name, phone number, account type, contact last modified, favourites, and other optional data, to enable you to autofill the data during the loan application process. This information is also required for the purposes of risk analysis in Android app versions 1.4.2 and below.


In the iOS app versions, as part of the loan journey facilitated by FastCash : Instant Loan Online, we collect, upload to FastCash : Instant Loan Online servers, store, and monitor your contact information, which includes name, phone number, account type, contact last modified, favourites, and other optional data, to enable you to autofill the data during the loan application process; this information is also required for risk analysis, to enable us to detect credible references, assess your creditworthiness, and to enable us to detect fraudulent references.


COLLECTION OF APPLICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED


To assess your credit worthiness and enrich your profile with pre-approved customised loan offers, we collect a list of installed applications' metadata information, which includes the application name, package name, installed time, updated time, version name, and version code of each installed application on your device.


CAMERA


We need camera access so that we can scan and capture the required KYC documents and auto-fill relevant fields.


We require access to your camera as part of the KYC journey to enable you to begin your KYC process. This permission allows us or our authorised agents to perform your Video KYC while also taking screenshots of your original Officially Verified Documents that you present during your Video KYC journey. Video KYC allows you to complete your KYC digitally, smoothly, and efficiently. Your video will be recorded and retained for regulatory purposes along with your original Officially Verified Documents that you present during your Video KYC journey.


MICROPHONE


We need microphone permissions to enable two-way communication between our authorised agent and you during your Video KYC, and your audio will be recorded for regulatory purposes.


STORAGE


We need storage permission so that your KYC and other relevant documents can be securely downloaded and saved on your phone. You can then easily upload the correct KYC related documents for a faster loan application details filling and disbursal process, ensuring a smooth experience while using the app.


OTHER NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION


We collect certain information about you automatically based on your behaviour on our Platform, which we use to conduct internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behaviour in order to better understand, protect, and serve our users and improve our services. We also collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address and the URL you used to connect your computer to the internet, among other things.
